Undergraduate English Programs

Undergraduates programs use a two-stage screening method. The first stage is a paper based screening, where applicants are required to submit their application, academic transcript, academic recommendation letter, personal statement, and financial plan. The second stage is a brief interview via teleconferencing. The interview will comprise a mix of general and subject specific questions.

Graduate Programs

In general, Master and PhD degrees are on the basis of research, and students are accepted to specific laboratory groups.

The first step is normally to identify and contact a suitable professor.  You can find professors by looking at graduate school websites, or via our Researcher Database.  Graduate programs are managed by each department individually, so you need to contact the program office with questions or problems.  Normally, there is a contact email on the program website.  Please refrain from using the contact form on this website for program inquiries or to try to contact prospective supervisors.

Please note, the advice here is general.  You should carefully check the program website for specific details, and email the relevant program offices if you have any questions.
