Undergraduate Programs

Students from around the world can choose to study in nine undergraduate schools here at the University of Tsukuba. We have programs in taught entirely in English in three fields: Life & Environmental Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social & International Studies.

Masters Programs

A number of Masters degree programs are also offered by the university, providing students the opportunity to gain a higher level degree from one of Japan's premier research universities.

Doctoral Programs

Over three hundred research institutions are located in and around the University of Tsukuba in Ibaraki Prefecture. Students and researchers have the opportunity to work in a truly unique science city that emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.

Third International Student Forum Held in Kazakhstan

2017年3月3日カザフ国立大学東洋学部棟において、第3回国際学生フォーラが行われました。学生が社会的な問題を学習言語で発表するということがフォーラム開催の目的です。2015年は外国語教育、2016年はジェンダーの問題がテーマでしたが、今年は «Проблемы пожилого населения в Казахстане и Японии»(カザフスタンと日本の老人問題)をテーマとしました。筑波大学の留学生グループはロシア語で日本の老人問題を、カザフ人学生はカザフスタンにおける老人問題を日本語で発表しました。

International programs in science and social sciences

A wide range of Masters and PhD degree programs taught in English are also available.

Our international degree programs offer September entry allowing easy application and entry for international students, are taught and administered entirely in English, and provide comprehensive student support and Japanese language training. Furthermore, we charge internationally competitive tuition fees, and offer a range of scholarships and fees waivers.
