Japan College Degree Programs in English

Undergraduate Programs

Students from around the world can choose to study in nine undergraduate schools here at the University of Tsukuba. We have programs in taught entirely in English in three fields: Life & Environmental Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social & International Studies.

Masters Programs

A number of Masters degree programs are also offered by the university, providing students the opportunity to gain a higher level degree from one of Japan's premier research universities.

Doctoral Programs

Over three hundred research institutions are located in and around the University of Tsukuba in Ibaraki Prefecture. Students and researchers have the opportunity to work in a truly unique science city that emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.

University Officials from Taiwan visit Tsukuba

2017年6月19日、台湾各地の大学関係者一行が来訪しました。
今回の来訪は、6月18日に茨城県水戸市にて開催された「台湾留学フェア」に参加した19大学から関係者が国際交流に関する意見交換を目的として本学を訪問したものです。
 
本学の台湾事務所が設置されている国立台湾大学の他、協定校である国立台湾師範大学、国立成功大学、輔仁大学をはじめ台湾各地の大学関係者47名が来訪しました。本学と台湾の更なる交流推進が期待されます。

Delegation from Taiwan’s National Taichung First Senior High School visits Tsukuba

2017年5月25日、台湾・台中第一高級中等学校一行が来訪し、大学見学を行いました。

台中第一高級中等学校(台中一中)は、本学の附属駒場高校と2015年に交流協定を締結し、研究発表や授業に参加するといった国際交流を実施しています。駒場高校からは毎年約20名の高校生が台中一中を訪問し、台中一中からは約60名が隔年で駒場高校を訪問しています。

Coordinator for Study in Japan : 3rd coordination meeting for recruiting students from Brazil

2017年5月11日(木)「第3回ブラジル留学生受入校連絡会議」が筑波大学東京キャンパスで開催されました。
 本会議は、本学ベントン・キャロライン・ファーン副学長(国際担当)の開会挨拶に始まり、続いて文部科学省、駐日ブラジル大使館、独立行政法人日本学生支援機構及び出席の6大学より挨拶がありました。

International programs in science and social sciences

We offer international undergraduate programs taught in English in Life and Environmental Science, majoring in Biology, Agrobiology or Geoscience, International Social Sciences, majoring in Sociology, Economics, Law, Political Science, International Relations or International Development, and Medical Science. A wide range of Masters and PhD degree programs taught in English are also available.

Our international degree programs offer September entry allowing easy application and entry for international students, are taught and administered entirely in English, and provide comprehensive student support and Japanese language training. Furthermore, we charge internationally competitive tuition fees, and offer a range of scholarships and fees waivers.
