Welcome to the Trans-Pacific Human Capital Development Program in the University of Tsukuba!
Aims of the program
The Trans-Pacific Human Capital Development Program has the purpose of fostering human capital who will contribute toward the common challenges of sustainable development and the resolution of global issues, in coordination with top universities in Latin America and the Caribbean with a long history of relations with the University of Tsukuba.
The Trans-Pacific Human Capital Development Program is part of the umbrella of the Re-Inventing Japan Projects of the University of Tsukuba for achieving a global education and contributing toward global peace supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT).
This program aims to create a multicultural community where the students of today learn to understand the problematic of Japan and Latin American countries and looking into the future, they can work as a link based on their knowledge of the culture on both sides of the Pacific Ocean and be part of a strong network of alumni professionals.
