We live in the age of globalization and information technology facing many difficult issues.
On August 6. 2009, the University of Tsukuba opened an office in Ho Chi Minh City as the third overseas office of our university. The Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Office aims to expand our international collaborative activities, provide more educational opportunities to Vietnamese students and young researchers, and support Japanese students and researchers for them to continue their research activities or apply their knowledge to work at our partner clinical facilities in Vietnam.
The HCMC Office is not only a bridge linking the University of Tsukuba with Vietnamese universities and organizations in their international collaboration activities, but also we have been supporting Vietnamese students and researchers by providing them opportunities to study and research in an advanced country, in one of Japan's leading universities no less. Besides that, we have been providing support to other Japanese universities with their activities being implemented in Vietnam in the framework of the Global 30 program, a program supported by Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology (MEXT) to attract 300,000 international students to Japanese universities by 2020. A bilateral and reciprocal cooperation between Japanese and Vietnamese universities is what we are aiming at. Get in touch with us and we will support you on your way to your future achievement.
