JANET (Japan Academic Network in Europe) is an organization of Japanese universeities and academic institutions, most of which operate an overseas office in Europe. It aims to promote academic information exchange between Europe and Japan and was founded 2015 at the initiative of Dr. Keiichi Kodaira, director of the Bonn Office of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and University of Tsukuba’s president Kyosuke Nagata. Currently about 30 Japanese universities and research institutes are members of JANET. In 2016 the University of Tsukuba presided over JANET and its Bonn Office entrusted with managing the JANET Forum.We are pleased to inform you that JANET Forum 2021, with the theme of International Exchange during the COVID-19 Pandemic: Planning ahead for the next few years, will be held online from November 10th to 12th, 2021.
