Around 680 Students in Brazil Visited the "Study in Japan Fair 2016"

About 350 students dropped in at the "Study in Japan Fair 2016" organized by the University of Tsukuba in Sao Paulo, Brazil last March 11, 2016.

The study fair was held in the morning at ETAPA, and at Auditório István Jancsó, Biblioteca Brasiliana Guita e José Mindlin of University of Sao Paulo (USP) in the afternoon. Meanwhile, 330 joined the same event in Brasilia. Students who are interested in or have study experiences in Japan attended presentations and visited the booths to seek information and advice.

Here were the programs for the following events:

March 11 (a.m.): Study in Japan Fair 2016 at ETAPA

9:10 - 9:35 Introduction of participating universities

9:35 - 9:40 Introduction of JASSO scholarships

9:40 - 9:45 Testimonials of visiting Japanese students

9:45 - 11:00 Consultations (individual or group)

14:00 - 14:10 Greetings from the President of the University of Tsukuba, Consul-General of Japan in Sao Paulo, Associate Director for International Cooperation

14:10 - 14:15 Introduction of "Coordinator for Study in Japan Project"

14:15 - 14:50 Introduction of participating universities

14:50 - 15:00 Introduction of JASSO scholarships

15:00 - 15:05 Introduction of the MEXT scholarship program

15:05 - 15:10 Introduction of the JICA training program for Japanese descendants

15:10 - 15:15 Sharing of experiences of recently returned students

15:15 - 17:35 Consultations (individual or group)
