Last November 16-18, 2015, the University of Tsukuba in cooperation with Waseda University organized briefing sessions in three international schools in Europe.
The sessions took place at the International School of Amsterdam (the Netherlands), the International School of Düsseldorf, and the International School Frankfurt-Rhein-Main (both in Germany). Many students of the International Schools who are thinking of studying in Japan after their graduation, together with their parents, participated in the briefing sessions. All together there were over 130 participants.
At each International School, the participants listened to the presentations of the University of Tsukuba and Waseda University with enthusiasm, as reflected in the
variety of questions especially those pertaining to entrance examinations and student life in Japan.
Aside from briefing sessions, the University of Tsukuba has started conducting “Entrance Examinations for International Baccalaureate (IB)” since 2014 which target students with IB qualifications. Through programs like these, the University of Tsukuba is striving to attract highly skilled students from all over the world to study at our University.
