Tuition fees and Tuition Exemption
Students with high academic ability may qualify for a full or partial tuition fees waiver and/or scholarships for one of more years of their program. The university also offers a wide variety of other services – affordable accommodation, cafeterias where high quality, filling food can be had for reasonable prices, second hand shops for students to buy necessities for their rooms, and free use of the university computer network.
Partial and full tuition waivers are available for high performing students with financial difficulties. Check below for more information.

Japanese Government Scholarship
Each year, the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Monbukagakusho) offers scholarships to international students, providing thousands with the opportunity to live and study in Japan. The Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) scholarships can be applied for in three different ways; however, the vast majority of them are applied through the Japanese embassies or consulates general in the applicants’ home countries.

Applicants who hold Japanese nationality (dual-citizens) and Permanent Residents of Japan may be eligible to apply for a student loan from JASSO. More information can be found at the JASSO website.
