The Shanghai Office of the University of Tsukuba was established on June 1, 2012 at the East China Normal University, a partner university.
It aims to recruit excellent Chinese students, form networks with University of Tsukuba alumni, support students dispatched from the University of Tsukuba, gather information on and facilitate academic exchange with Chinese education and research institutions, and promote international collaborations with China. It also organizes internships, martial arts programs, Japanese language guidance programs, and short-term Chinese language courses.
